The Making of "Too late, but we finally get it!" Painting

Hi guys,

Back at it again.  Part of my dabble into the 3D Painting World.  Not sure that I like the 3D part, but it does provide an interesting dimension to my art.  In anycase, have a look at this Dinosaur themed piece.  It's called, "Too late, but we finally get it."

They finally realized that they should have all lived together peacefully, and when they finally understood it, it's too late.  The end is coming, the final goodbyes have started.

Do you see a similar story?

Cheers,
Leon

The making of "Enough. This is Not Us!" painting

Hi guys,

Been inspired lately to start painting again, and this painting is my attempt to enter the political stratosphere.  Once again I dabble in the 3D space and bring to you American and USSR relations as interprited by Chess. I am certain all of you will find a different storyline within this painting - and such is my intention.

The point is simple, ENOUGH!! No more games.  Time to hold everyone accountable for the descruptive behaviors that go against the positive growth of our World.  A growth that we all must strive for...True, Amazing, Beautiful World Peace!

As always, let me know what you think.

Thank you.

The making of "The Beauty of Speed" painting

Hi guys,

The making of this art piece and story is one of charity, good wishes and a donation to Light The Night Walk 2016, a charitable event by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). It is a wonderful event, with many within my company participating and donating their time and hearts.

It was commissioned by Rebecca, one of the Executives at San Francisco Federal Credit Union, who made a very generous cash donation to this organization.  I was likewise happy to donate my time in creating this art piece and am pleased with how the painting came out. In fact, it somewhat instantly became one of my favorite pieces.

As with all painting projects, I was excited to get started and usually begin with trying to learn/understand my customer and the various elements of life that bring a smile to them. Rebecca provided me with the keywords of her life and I got started.

Below is the resulting Daydream, a vision that came to be, by way of Rebecca's life :-) I call it, "The Beauty of Speed"

Enjoy the art piece, including some photos of how the painting came together.

Cheers and thank you Rebecca for your donation and helping bring your happiness to reality.

The Beginning Journey into 3D Painting: "My Friend Lives over there"

Hello dear friends and family,

It's been a while since I've had the pleasure to sit down in front of a canvas and do a painting.  It's absolutely wonderful how Art and Life go together.  They grow in a parallel stream and although I may have left the scene for a bit, rest assured the scene was never forgotten.  In fact as I get older, I am now afforded a little more testing and trying new things.

What you see below is my attempt to see where I can evolve my Art.  A Journey into the 3D world.  It's just a test, but I kind of like it.  Definitely leads me to appreciate sculpting more.  Hmmm...who knows, perhaps a bridge between the 2D and 3D Worlds may not be that bad.

Nonetheless, here we go...the next chapter of DaydreamPaintings has begun!

I have named the below painting "My Friend Lives Over There"
Since my wife and I had a daughter 2 years ago, this is my first painting being back.  Little Miya helped me with the painting by being an absolute cutey running and dancing around.

Please check this blog and my http://www.daydreampaintings.com site again for more creations.  This one was a blast of fun and I can't wait to get started on the next one.

Cheers.

The Making of "The K Love Pack" Painting

Hi guys,

This is my latest painting and instantly one of my all-time favorites. This was a gift to my uncle for his 65th Birthday with the unveiling at his house while enjoying good company and great food. The painting was a surprise and includes themes from all the things that my uncle and his family love about life.

The painting celebrates some of his hobbies and history, including elements such as:

World Travel
Love
Hockey
Soccer
Tennis
Computers
Music
Chess with Game pieces representing family members
USSR
Belarus
America
Family Name
Rare Coin Collection

As always, my painting came with the Certificate of Authenticity, and is an original artwork. Enjoy the below pictures of how the painting was made and let me know what you think :-)

Thanks.
