The Making of the "Life Splash" Painting

This was a very interesting painting for a great couple and included splashes of various elements and hobbies in their life. Milena and I spent a wonderful afternoon with the couple and learned about them, their children, their hobbies, and their stories. The painting is meant to be my reflection, collage, and tribute to their energy and zest for life.

The painting features many aspects of their life including:

• Armenian Flag
• Iranian Boxing Championship
• Mount Ararat
• America/American Flag
• Earth
• Poem of the heart
• Their home
• References to Real Estate
• Structural Engineering
• Dedication to the family name
• Elements from their antique tea set
• The poem that the painting includes is both wonderful and short. It talks about the beauty of life and love that these two individuals share. It's entirely original and a collaboration between Milena and I (who I must say she is turning out to be quite a creative force in her own right). It goes like this:

"May Love and Peace
Forever be.
As years ago
Your heart found me."
